Job Summary:

The Care Supervisor oversees the daily operations, program and staff of the Senior Day Care Centre, ensuring safe, efficient and compassionate care for all participants. Responsibilities include program planning in alignment with LCS guidelines, regulatory compliance and maintaining quality service. The role also involves managing staff and volunteers, overseeing budgets and resources, handling purchases and supporting fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Administration – Oversee daily operations, purchasing, donations, asset management, facility upkeep, and resource allocation.
  • Policy & Compliance – Develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain reporting to LCS.
  • Programs & Activities – Plan and run programs, events, and talks aligned with LCS guidelines and participants’ needs.
  • Participant Care – Safeguard health, nutrition, safety, and well-being; set care protocols and emergency plans.
  • Staff & Volunteers – Hire, train, supervise staff and coordinate volunteers.
  • Communication & Representation – Liaise with families, authorities, and the community; address concerns and represent the centre externally.
  • Finance & Fundraising – Manage budget, financial planning, and support fundraising.
  • Records & Confidentiality – Maintain accurate participant records and confidentiality.
  • Environment – Ensure the centre is clean, safe, and hygienic

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in elderly care or healthcare with minimum 2 years leadership experience preferred.
  • Certification in Nursing, Healthcare Management or a related field.(added advantage)
  • Ability to plan and oversee Senior Day Care program.
  • Essential financial management skills for budget.
  • Problem solving skills to handle emergencies and operational challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationship.
  • This position requires the candidate to be a Malaysian citizen, as the role includes application and maintain the necessary licenses under the Care Supervisor’s name.
