The Connect Groups are the basic life form of our church as the life of the church flows in and through our small groups. Therefore, the role of the Connect Group Host is vital in providing a hospitable and warm environment for Connect Members to meet for the purpose of evangelism and nurturing. Connect Group Hosts with the gift of hospitality will help newcomers feel welcome and enhance the bonding of Connect Members.

The Creative Ministry is a vital channel for the Church to bring the message of salvation through various art form such as drama, dance, music, etc. Projects are usually on ad hoc basis, and help is especially required during peak seasons such as Good Friday, Easter and Christmas. Besides the passion for acting, dancing, those who are skilled in scriptwriting, producing, costume-making, props, make-up, etc, are always in demand.

Evangelism is the main thrust of our church. We are zealous for not only winning people to Christ but to see each one of them grow to be disciples of Christ. Weekly Hospital Visitations on Saturdays at 4.15pm.

The Church holds many events all year round. Event support can be in the form of serving behind the S-Counter or helping out during church-wide events in providing support for set-up, serving food, waste management and clearing up after each event. People who serve in this area usually have a passion for helping out, seeing things well organized and supporting others.

Evergreen operate as an outreach ministry to the elderly folks in the Church on a weekly basis on Thursday. Our purpose is to reach out to families with senior adults in our community. The groups are held in the Church or local community facilities using a 9.00am – 2.00pm program.

An interdenominational prayer ministry committed to the healing of the whole person – body, soul and spirit. HRM volunteers’ responsibilities encompass areas in administration, interceding, deliverance, visiting the sick, hurting and spiritually oppressed.

Kidz Church aims to raise and disciple children in accordance to God’s ways (Proverbs 22:9). Each weekend we have dedicated teams of teachers who eagerly teach and lead the children so that they will come to know, love and serve our Heavenly Father. We use contemporary, fun and Bible interactive teaching style in connecting with the children. The role of the volunteers in Kidz Church would be to ensure children get what they need to be drawn to Jesus.

The library and resource is an integral part of GTPJ. Its vision is to serve the Church by providing quality Christian material and resources. It is our desire that the body of Christ be equipped and strengthened for the good work. The Library Team’s responsibilities include assisting with/managing Sermon DVD/CD orders and duplication, general counter enquires, as well as handle returns and borrowings of Church members under the guidance of a Team Leader.

LCSB is the social arm of GTPJ which was established to impact the community. LCSB aspires to demonstrate God’s love through acts of compassion and caring services to the poor, the needy, the oppressed and the marginalized. Services provided by LCSB include Rumah Juara, Lifezone Centre, Daily Bread Food Bank and Rumah Heritage & Elderly. Volunteers play a vital role with their various skills to enhance the vision of each respective home / centre. In addition they must have a passion and compassion for the marginalized community.

The PnP Ministry provides support in publicizing and promoting special events and ministries of the Church through media such as print, web,social media, photography, multimedia, video, etc. Those who are interested in this ministry will need to be able to communicate in a contemporary manner to our generation.

The Services Ministries provides a great avenue for every member of the Body of Christ to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, the Head. Just as our Lord came not to be served but to serve, His followers have the privilege and honor to serve others in our Church celebration services and special events, thereby touching lives meaningfully. Surely all of us are all gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve in at least one of these areas of ministry: Ushering, Hospitality, Traffic Control, Shuttle Services, Church Information Desk, Communion Preparation Team, Interior Decorating & Landscaping Team.

The Sports Ministry is a very effective tool to touch lives and connect with pre-believers, while at the same time also fostering stronger bonding among fellow Christians and promoting healthy minds and bodies of everyone who participates in the various sports organized by the church. We are on the lookout for men and women who will enhance and develop our GT Sports Ministry, for example, coaches, coordinators, skilled sportsmen and women, physiotherapists, administrators and volunteers who love sports and see it as opportunities to win souls, build people and touch lives for Christ.

The Worship & Tech Support team is a united team that loves the Lord and seeks to glorify Him, humbly serving with a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, song, dance, audio and visual, aiming to bring joy, hope and love, with one voice to lead the church into the divine presence of the Holy God through thanksgiving, praise and worship.
