What are your gatherings like?

First, we must understand church is not a building, a Sunday school class, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ and the people are the church. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as little as two people together.

What happens when I visit?

The service usually involves the singing of hymns, reading of scripture verses and possibly a psalm. If the church follows a lectionary, the sermon will often be about the scripture lections assigned to that day. Eucharistic churches have usually Holy Communion either every Sunday or several Sundays a month.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than your self, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.

Can I invite people to come with?

Ask your friends if they have a place to worship the Savior and invite them to come worship with you, especially at times like Christmas and Easter. If they aren’t Christians, ask them if they’d like to learn more about Jesus Christ and invite them to experience a Christian worship service with you. Remember to show the same respect for their beliefs that you hope they will give yours.

Healing Rooms Ministries

The Healing Rooms Ministries (HRM) is an interdenominational ministry and was established in Spokane, Washington, USA. It was originally started by John G. Lake about 80 years ago. In 1999, Cal Pierce re-opened the Spokane Healing Rooms and founded the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR). There are now over 4,000 Healing Rooms in over 25 countries, including the US, Europe, Africa, India, Singapore, and Malaysia. In Malaysia, the first HRM was started in 2005 in Glad Tidings Church.

Our HRM Physical sessions have a dedicated team to minister face-to-face to individuals in the privacy of individual rooms; offering support in areas such as physical illness, spiritual attack and oppression, depression and anxiety, financial or work issues, family and relationships, among others. No pre-appointment is required. One just need to register at the registration counter upon arrival. However, seekers are strongly advised to be present, and register themselves latest by 9pm, to ensure that the assigned ministers will have sufficient time to minister to the seeker.

The HRM Zoom sessions also have a dedicated team ready to minister to individuals online via Zoom’s private breakout rooms, offering support in areas such as physical illness, spiritual attack and oppression, depression and anxiety, financial or work issues, family and relationships, among others.
